Huawei is sending December 2020 security update to Nova 7 SE 5G and Nova 6 smartphones. The December 2020 security patch fixes 1 critical and 11 high level CVE’s that improves device security. Thus, we always recommend users to keep their smartphones up to date with the latest security patches.
Huawei has already rolled out EMUI 11 for Nova 6 whereas the Nova 7 SE 5G is currently on EMUI 10.1. The latest update for Nova 6 bumps the EMUI version from 11.0.0.165 to 11.0.0.168. For Nova 7 SE 5G, the build version is 10.1.1.205.
