Xiaomi has started sending MIUI 12 update to Redmi 8A Dual users in India. It is based on Android 10 and rolling out to users with firmware version V12.0.1.0.QCQINXM.
Currently, the update is in a stable beta phase and therefore rolling out to a limited number of users. Once no major bugs are found, the company will plan a wider rollout. The MIUI 12 update for Redmi 8A Dual is currently seeding Indian users and is expected to roll out to other regions soon.
MIUI 12 brings a lot of features to the devices like improved dark mode, Super wallpapers, New animations, New gestures, Health tracking, and Enhanced privacy.
You can manually check for the latest update by heading to Settings > About phone > Software update. For those who can’t wait, we have also added a download link of the ROM, that required manual installation.
