Samsung is pushing a new software update to Galaxy A80 users in the global market. The latest update bumps the Android monthly security patch to its latest i.e. January 2021 security patch.
The OTA update is hitting Galaxy A80 smartphone with firmware version A805FXXS5BUA1. The device is currently running One UI 2.5 skin based on Android 10. Samsung has already confirmed that Galaxy A80 is also eligible for Android 11 based One UI 3.0 skin. However, the company is yet to start One UI 3.0 beta recruitment for Galaxy A80.
Coming back to the latest update, you would have already received a notification to install the update. If not, then check it manually by navigating to Settings -> Software update. The update is rolling in a phased manner, so it may take a few days to reach your phone.
