Samsung Galaxy A30s was launched back in August 2019 with Android 9 Pie out of the box. Later the device received one major OS upgrade in the form of Android 10. Now, the Galaxy A30s is getting a minor update that brings December 2020 security patch.
The latest update is based on Android 10 and comes with firmware version A307FNXXU2BTL2. Currently, the update is rolling out in Europe and is expected to hit other regions very soon. Apart from the January 2021 security patch, the update does not bring any new features or UI changes. So, you won’t experience any changes but the device security gets better than earlier.
If you are a user of Galaxy A30s and belongs to Europe then, you would have already received the update. If not, then check it manually by navigating to Settings -> Software update and then tap on Download and update.
