OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro start getting OxygenOS Open Beta 6 update. It is based on Android 11 and installs January 2021 security patch. The Open Beta 5 update for the devices brought the Rewind Recording feature in Game Space, December 2020 security patch.
In addition to the security patch, the Open Beta 6 update for One Plus 8/8 Pro brings few optimizations, UI improvements, a new dock, an information dashboard, and some fixes. The changelog for both devices is exactly the same. Check out the changelog for a detailed look at changes.

- Optimized the UI display of the status bar
- Optimized the stability of frame rate and improved the experience when playing games

- Optimized the layout of the cloud service interface in the Gallery for a better operation experience

- Improved the transmission rate of Bluetooth when connecting watches
The Open Beta 6 update is rolling out to those users who have opted to test beta builds. We have also added download links for the ROM which can be installed via Local upgrade method.
