Huawei P20 Lite was unveiled back in March, 2018 running Android 8 based EMUI 8 skin at the top. Later on, the company released one major upgrade for the device in the form of EMUI 9. Now, Huawei is sending a new update to the P20 Lite that brings November 2020 security patch.
The update strengthens the device’s security by adding November 2020 security patch which includes fixes for different levels of exploits and issues including 3 critical and 15 high levels of CVEs. Currently, the update is rolling out to European users of Huawei P20 Lite. The update is hitting the device with build version 9.1.0.372 and weighs 221MB in size.
The latest update for P20 Lite is rolling out in batches. So, it may take a few days to reach your smartphone. In the meantime, you can check it manually by heading to Settings -> Software update -> Check for updates. Another method to check for the latest update is by Opening Support app -> Service tab -> update -> Check for updates.
