Huawei is rolling out a new software update for Y9 Prime 2019 that brings December 2020 security patch. The security patch brings a fix for 1 critical and 11 high levels of CVE’s for system security improvements.
The update is based on EMUI 10 and seeding Indian users of Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 with build version 10.0.0.347. As this is just a security patch update, you have to spend less than 100MB of your internet data.
The OTA update is currently rolling out in batches. So, it may take few days to reach your smartphone. In the meantime, you can check for the latest update using any of the two methods given below.
