A couple of days back, Xiaomi opened beta registrations of Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 for Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G in China. Now, the company quietly released the MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G in China. The device was launched in December 2020 for the Chinese market. Later the device launched as Mi 10T for Europe and Mi 10i for the Indian market.
The update is currently rolling out as a closed beta and is only available to China. However, we have added a download link for the recovery ROM for manual installation. As this is a beta update, it may contain bugs, and hence installation of this ROM can put your device at risk.
[Note: It is always recommended not to install any beta update on your primary device.]
Device: Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G
Codename: gauguin
Channel: China Closed Beta
Version: 21.1.8 (MIUI 12.5.5)

Before installing the ROM, make sure your device has at least 50% of the battery and the bootloader is unlocked. If you are not aware of the steps involved in the manual installation, check out here.
