Update Gig

Huawei has started sending a new software update to Enjoy Z 5G based on EMUI 10.1. This is a minor update and bumps the security patch level to December 2020. The security patch updates fix different levels of exploits and make the device more secure. 

The latest build is based on EMUI 10.1 and rolling out with software version 10.1.1.202. Currently, the update is seeding Chinese users of Enjoy Z 5G and will rollout to other regions pretty soon.

STEPS TO INSTALL THE UPDATE

Via Settings App

• Open Settings app
• Go to System & updates -> Software update
• Then, click on Check for updates
• Download and install the update.

Via Support App

• Open Support app
• Go to the Services tab
• Click Update
• Then, click on Check for updates
• Download and install the update.
