Honor has started rolling out a new software update to Honor 30 Youth and Play 4 in China. The update installs December 2020 security patch and does not bring any new feature or UI changes. 

The December 2020 security patch fixes 1 critical and 11 high level CVE’s. Thus, making the device more secure than before. The latest update for Honor Play 4 bumps the software version from 3.1.1.198 to 3.1.1.199. For Honor 30 Youth, the latest build comes with software version 3.1.1.202.

Honor 30 Youth/Play 4 users can check for the latest update by heading to Settings > System & updates > Software update > Check for update > Download and install

Another way to check for the update is by navigating to Support App > Services > Update > Check for updates.
