Xiaomi has now released the first beta update of Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 for Redmi Note 8 Pro. The device was launched back in 2018 with Android 9 Pie pre-installed. So, this is the second major OS upgrade for the device in the form of Android 11.
The first beta build of MIUI 12.5 is currently available to Chinese users of Redmi Note 8 Pro. The update is rolling out with firmware version 21.1.11 and is available to a limited number of beta participants.
For those who can’t wait to try the latest update, we’ve added a download link of the ROM. This update needs to be installed manually with proper knowledge and precautions.
