Xiaomi is sending a new update to Redmi Note 7 Pro that installs January 2021 security patch. The Android 10 based update hits the device with firmware version MIUI V12.0.5.0.QFHINXM.

The update does not bring any new features to Redmi Note 7 Pro. Instead, it improves the device security thus making the device more secure for use. The update will cost 262MB of your internet data.

You should receive a notification on your phone when the update arrives. Alternatively, you can check the status manually by heading to Settings -> About phone -> System update. We have also added a download link of the latest ROM, which needs to be installed manually.
