Redmi Note 7 getting updated with January 2021 security patch

Redmi Note 7 series is one of the company’s best selling smartphone series. A couple of days ago, Xiaomi rolled out January 2021 security patch update for Redmi Note 7 Pro. Now, the same update is hitting Redmi Note 7 with build version V12.0.3.0.QFGEUXM.

The update is based on Android 10 and currently rolling in Europe. As this is a minor security patch update, it does not bring any new features or UI tweaks. Security patch update fixes different kinds of exploits and makes the device more secure than before. Hence, we always recommend you to install the update as soon as it pops up on your phone.
