Huawei rolls out December 2020 security update for P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro+ in Europe

Huawei has recently completed its EMUI 11 rollout for the P40 series in Europe. The P40 lineup includes Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro+. After a major upgrade, the company is now sending monthly security patch update to the Huawei P40 series in the form of January 2021 security patch.

The latest update is currently rolling out in Europe with firmware version 11.0.0.168 and package size of about 530MB. Along with the January 2021 patch, the update adds a new file transfer feature. This new feature transfers files at 305Mbps with long-range support and allows sharing up to 400GB file size.
