New update for Huawei Mate 20 Lite brings December 2020 security patch

Huawei Mate 20 Lite is receiving a new update that brings December 2020 security patch. The security patch fixes 1 critical and 11 high level CVE’s which in turn makes your device more secure than before.

The update is based on EMUI 10 and rolling out to users in batches. So, it may take few days to reach your smartphone. As this is a security patch update, don’t expect any new features or UI changes. Notably, the Mate 20 Lite is placed in the quarterly EMUI update section. It means that the device will continue to receive updates on a quarterly basis.

The latest build for Mate 20 Lite comes with firmware version 10.0.0.273 and a package size just above 100MB.
