Honor Play 4 Pro 5G is getting December 2020 security patch update. The update is currently rolling out in China with build version 3.1.0.128 based on Magic UI 3.1. 

The December 2020 security patch fixes 1 critical and 11 high level CVE’s. Other than the security patch, the latest update does not bring any new features to Honor Play 4 Pro 5G.
