Xiaomi Mi 10 was one of the very first devices to receive Android 11 update. Back in early December, the company rolled out the Android 11 based MIUI 12 update for Mi 10 in India. That update brought Android 11 core features, MIUI 12 skin, and October 2020 security patch. Notably, Xiaomi re-releases another Android 11 based MIUI 12 update for Mi 10 in India.
The update does not bring any new features but removes October 2020 security patch from the previous update. The latest update is hitting the device with build version V12.2.2.0.RJBINXM and cost you 3.1GB of internet data. Note that, the update is currently in a stable beta phase, hence rolling out to a limited number of users. Once no major bugs are confirmed, Xiaomi will plan a wider rollout.
If you are a user of Mi 10 in India, then chances are that you would have already received the update. If not, then check it manually by heading to Settings -> About phone -> System update. We’ve also added a download link of the ROM for manual installation, which is a bit risky way, that we don’t recommend.
