Samsung has started rolling out Android 11 based One UI 3.0 skin to Galaxy Fold. Last week, Galaxy Z Fold 2 received the One UI 3.0 stable update. Now, the company’s first foldable phone, Galaxy Fold joins the party.
The latest update is hitting Galaxy Fold (LTE variant) with firmware version F900FXXU4DUA1 and version F907BXXU4DUA1 for the 5G variant. Galaxy Fold (LTE) users from UAE and 5G users from UK, Switzerland, and France are reportedly receiving the One UI 3.0 update. However, the company will expand its availability to more regions very soon.
The latest update brings Android 11 features like chat bubbles, dedicated media playback widget, a separate conversation area, and security improvements like one-time permission. On top of this, Samsung’s One UI 3.0 skin brings an improved User interface, fast widget access, and bubble support.
If you are a user of Galaxy Fold and belongs to one of the above mentioned regions. Then, you would have received the update on your Galaxy Fold. If that’s not the case, check it status manually by heading to Settings -> Software update and then click on Download and install.
