New update for Huawei Mate 10 Pro brings November 2020 security and stability improvements

Huawei Mate 10 Pro is receiving a new software update based on EMUI 10. The latest update brings November 2020 security patch and optimizes the system stability in certain scenarios. 

Huawei Mate 10 Pro is no longer a part of the company’s regular software update program. It was July 2020, when the Mate 10 Pro received the last security patch. But, the company is occasionally sending new security updates.

The November 2020 security patch fixes the different level of exploits that in turn improves the device security. Additionally, it also improves system stability for a better experience.

Currently, the latest build with version 10.0.0.183 is rolling out to Mate 10 Pro users from select regions. You can expect a wider rollout in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, you can check for the latest update using any of the methods described below.

Via Settings App

• Open Settings app
• Go to System & updates -> Software update
• Then, click on Check for updates
• Download and install the update.

• Open Support app
• Go to the Services tab
• Click Update
