Samsung is one of the most well-known companies for sending regular security patch updates to their smartphones. The company has already released Android’s latest security patch update to some of its devices. Now, Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Note 9 join the party by getting January 2021 security patch update.
The latest update is rolling out to Galaxy Note 9 with build version N960FXXS7FUA1 and Galaxy Fold is getting the same update with build version F900FXXS4CTL1. The update currently rolling out in Europe but expected to roll out widely in the coming weeks.
Besides the latest security patch, the update does not bring any UI improvements. So, you won’t feel any different but, internally the security gets upgraded to the latest. To check the update manually, head to Settings -> Software update and then click on Download and install option.
